Recent Projects
- Environmental impact assessment and planning for wind - North Energy submitted an application on behalf of German developer, Prowind, for two wind farms, Bishopwood and Woodlane, in the Selby area of Yorkshire.
- Wind feasibility for racecourse - Following a wind feasibility assessment undertaken by North Energy at a well known racecourse, North Energy has been commissioned to provide a planning support programme to include an Environmental Impact Assessment and planning application.
- Biomass district heating - North Energy carry out a biomass district heating study for the National Trust in North-East England.
- Energy efficiency for sheltered housing - North Energy was commissioned by Argyll Community Housing Association to undertake an energy efficiency assessment of nine predominantly rural sheltered housing complexes across Argyll and Bute. North Energy identified up to 32% savings on annual energy expenditure along with potential renewable energy technologies for heating and electricity generation.
